I am a passionate and strong writer specializing in lifestyle topics. Being a journalist is what I love to do - and I absolutely cannot imagine doing anything else.

EDUCATION:
M.A. in Journalism from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (program all conducted in English), M.A. in Communications from New York Institute of Technology (NYC), B.A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Art from SUNY Purchase.

CERTIFICATIONS:
New York University: Advanced Diploma in Social Media Marketing, WSET Level 1 Award in Wines, and WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits.

PERSONAL:
I believe all my previous experience led me to the girl I am today. Naturally inquisitive and always curious, I started out in the Public Relations field. I quickly realized that I wanted to be on the media side of things, and after pursuing another Master's degree, this time in Journalism, I landed a highly competitive internship at Time Out magazine. From then on, I never looked back! Even though my career path has taken a detour from time to time, I am still laser-focused on achieving my goal of becoming a top lifestyle journalist. All of those little detours? Well, they have all given me invaluable skills & insight, and shaped me to be the Crystal C. Long that I am today.
